Position:
Circle Health are looking for a Head of Testing/QA Test Manager to come on board, to build and lead the testing function, from scratch, following the integration of Circle/BMI Healthcare. The Head of Testing/QA Manager will take ownership of the quality assurance and testing (QAT) strategy, defining and implementing the strategy, along with building the test team. The QA test manager will be responsible for the day to day management of system and functional testing of applications, ensuring procedures/processes are put in place and adhered to, in order for high quality testing of software releases. You will have strong experience in leading test teams, onshore and offshore, managing projects (and project resources) and reporting to director level on progress across all projects.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Testing/QA Test Manager include:- Definition and implementation of the Testing strategy
- Defining a QA / Testing process to support the successful delivery of systemic changes
- Building up and leading the testing team to ensure the success of the project
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
- Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
- Deploying and managing resources for testing, both on shore and off shore
- Working closely with project managers to ensure test strategies and test plans are in place, on time
- Allocating team members to functional, non-functional and security testing according to project priorities.
- Expert in leading QA Testing within large a organisation
- Built test teams and set up testing frameworks
- ISTQB/ISEB testing Certified
- In depth knowledge of IT QA processes and techniques.
- In depth knowledge of all testing, System, SIT, UAT, Regression
- Experience of large IT project implementation.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
