Summary of the Senior Infrastructure Analyst Role:
A great opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join an industry leading organisation, leading the network and infrastructure work for the business. Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager, you will be a leading member of the infrastructure team, taking the lead on key projects and mentoring the more junior members of the team. You will be supporting the business with designing future operating models, installations and project service to their customers covering a wide range of technical disciplines. Assist in planning and implementing the IT infrastructure roadmaps and strategies, as well as Leading the support of all other activities dependent on the technical expertise of the IT Infrastructure Team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities for the Senior Infrastructure Analyst:- Working in a broad hands-on role supporting technical IT infrastructure
- Leading desktop support and network/infrastructure work.
- Being the Technical Lead for Infrastructure based services
- Participate in Service Design sessions where technical requirements are captured and documented by the IT Infrastructure Team
- Provide technical support to tickets raised through IT service desk for all software and hardware issues, work closely with Service desk and knowledge share
- Responsible for the security, resilience, backup and monitoring of infrastructur
- Support the business needs on an out of hours support rota and enhanced hours during peak periods
- Virtualisation (VMWare)
- Cloud Technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Active Directory Management DHCP, Group Policies, DNS
- Experience of supporting server operating systems 2003-2019
- Supporting and developing M365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange
- Storage Area Networks (SAN or NAS)
- ITIL incident, problem and change management
- Ability for travel to other sites in the UK
- Anti-Virus and end user security
You can expect to be involved in the following key projects across the next 12-18 months.- Migration from on premise file servers to Sharepoint/OneDrive
- Start M365 a lot more taking advantage of MFA/SSO/Intune
- Upgrade Windows Operating systems and look to host more in Azure
- Active Directory also needs a full upgrade
