- Our client, a provider of software and services are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their
growing team.
The client have a range of market leading software solutions, products and consultancy services to
assist their own clients in delivering a better quality of service. They are headquartered in the UK,
but are very much a global presence with functions in 25 countries worldwide.
The ideal candidate would have experience of testing web based applications, restful API’s and
android or iOS using primarily manual testing technologies. You would play a big part in the quality
of software delivered and be comfortable working in an agile environment.
The main elements of the role would include, but not be limited to:
- Testing new features and fixes, accurately triaging and prioritising issues
- Defining scenarios to aid the development of automated tests
- Ensuring QA compliance within ISO management quality processes
- Close working relationship with product and development teams to feedback on any
potential issues.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 1+ year experience as a software test engineer in a commercial environment
- Keen eye for detail and passion for creating a great user experience
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experience of test management applications (desirable)
- Automation or testing experience with Javascript or Typescript (desirable)
