A 6 month contract is available for an IT Service Management professional to come on board in a critical senior management capacity for a financial services organisation. The Head of IT Service Management will be responsible for the delivery of IT services, to large banking customers, ensuring contracted service levels and service quality is achieved.
Leading a team of Service, Process & Client Managers, you are responsible for the entire Service Management function, working closely with your management team to look at current processes and make improvements where necessary.
The job holder is accountable for an overall department size of circa 25 staff members.
Responsibilities:- Accountable for delivery of End to End IT Services to Companies clients, meeting agreed SLAs.
- Strategically focused with responsibility for improving client satisfaction and maintaining client communication.
- Be responsible for IT Service Management Strategy, Policies and Processes.
- Department management - leading your managers in order to develop them and in turn their team members
- Set objectives for the department to hit
Key experience required:- Recognised and Proven IT Service Management expertise and experience with ITIL v3 ExpertITIL 4
- Demonstrable experience in reviewing and implementing IT Service management practices and policies
- Proven track record in Client Relationship Management, Service Delivery and Service Management utilising ITIL Frameworks
- Proven IT Service Management / IT Consulting / IT Support background with strong Financial Services and Data Processing Knowledge
- Proven people management skills
