Role:           IT Telephony/Comms Support Engineer

Location:     Remote Based with regular travel to sites

Salary:        £32,000 - £38,000pa + Benefits

An opportunity for a telephony support professional to join a leading private healthcare provider, as part of the IT Comms team. The roles main focus will be on the upgrade of the Mitel platform, moving it from On-Prem to Mitel Cloud. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate good knowledge across voice technologies (Mitel preferred though others are acceptable), including VOIP, digital and analogue phone systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining all voice systems, monitoring performance, ensuring system availability, reliability and providing input into capacity planning to handle projected growth.
  • Undertake typical break fix and support activities on all voice related infrastructure and services, both on-site and remotely, as required.
  • Performing maintenance tasks and system upgrades
  • Support the delivery of voice projects
  • Manage the installation, support and maintenance of production systems to completion.
The telephony/Comms support engineer will have:

  • Previous experience in a telephony support role
  • Worked in large organisations supporting mutliple sites
  • Knowledge of voice systems - including Mitel
  • Have good customer service skills in order to troubleshoot issues reported by users
  • Be willing to travel to sites on occasions
Candidates will have to go through DBS checks as part of the role.
