We are currently recruiting on behalf of our West Yorkshire based client for a number of .NET Software Developers to join their growing team after a very successful few years. This company offers the opportunity for progression and growth within and the potential to move in to more senior roles as the company continues to grow. Many of our clients senior staff have started out in junior roles and progressed within the company, so this presents a real opportunity for committed and dedicated candidates with ambition. 

Job Title: .Net Software Developer
Location: Brighouse
Salary: £30,000-35,000

Purpose of the job: To develop and maintain our clients in-house software estate, including but not limited to their Portal, Customer Interface, API and associated online tools.  

Main duties/ tasks:
Work to specifications provided from the Head of Technology and UX/UI team to provide new features or act upon change requests from stakeholders within the business. 

Additional tasks:
Support of the clients in-house software estate. Investigation and resolution of issues raised through the Portal Support function. 

Experience required:


  • The candidate must have a minimum of one year’s development experience in industry.
  • Experience with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core
  • Experience in C#
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience in Git
  • Experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with the Bootstrap framework
  • Experience with the jQuery framework (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience with PostGres or SSMS (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience with IIS (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience with BitBucket, Confluence and JIRA (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience using Agile development methodologies (preferred, not essential)
