Role:          IT Security Analyst (Cyber Security)

Location:   Remote based - Candidates MUST be in the UK

Salary:       £45,000 - £55,000pa + 10% bonus

Job Description

 

An opportunity to join a growing Information Security team, focused on supporting the companies applications on a global scale. The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for operational IT Security, including monitoring and maintaining application security tools. You will play a major role in vulnerability management, not just escalating issues, but working with the development (and other teams) to influence the business into making changes in order to increase the effectiveness of the companies security for its applications. 

 

Key Experience Required for the IT Security Analyst:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a full-time security role as a Security Analyst 
  • IT Security certifications - CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security
  • Excellent knowledge of application security tools and frameworks, including web application tools
  • The skills to demonstrate vulnerabilities to stakeholders in order to influence change
  • Threat actor modelling and classification
    • Knowledge of industry accepted security best practices/standards/policies such as NIST, OWASP, CIS, MITRE ATTACK
  • Experience of, Cloud engineering solution for example AWS
 

This is a remote based role, which requires someone who is passionate about information security. You will be a forward thinker and bring solutions to improve IT Security for the business and their applications. Strong technical background is a must, along with relevant certifications.
