Role: Application/Software Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Milton Keynes/Remote based (2 days a week in the office)
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000pa

Role Summary:
Opportunity for an Application/Software Support professional to join my client's support function, delivering support services to customers on the products the company provides to them. You will work on raised incidents, providing an exceptional service in order to fix the issue, or escalate to the 3rd/4th line teams if required, documenting the issues and following support processes. You will also work on software releases with the implementation consultants, providing support to them during the implementation lifecycle.
My client is looking for someone who can manage their time effectively, be part of a team and also bring new ideas to improve the support function and ensure that the customer is kept informed, and is happy with the post-implementation support function.
Job Skills / Requirements- Previous experience of working in a software support environment with some knowledge of software development life cycle principles and methodologies
- Working knowledge of ITIL based support processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of SQL, being able to query SQL databases and write scripts
- Technical configuration and software installation experience
- Understanding of programming languages - .Net, Java, JavaScript etc
- Ability to solve technical problems quickly and clearly to a client via remote channels
- Experience of working with minimal guidance and ability to demonstrate initiative
