Location:    Office/Remote (2 days a week in Oxford ideally)

Salary:       £45,000 - £55,000pa

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to work for a company that develops software and hardware products that contribute to the improvement of peoples lives!. The Project Manager will take responsibility for a multiple of development projects (software and hardware), using Agile methods in order to delivery the projects for the business and its clients. 

Working closely with Development and Product managers, the Project Manager will also oversee the development of new products within the business, bringing ideas to the table and then developing project plans in order to deliver.

 

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the Project Manager will:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of projects across the companies software and hardware products, including upgrades/maintenance work on the products
  • Work with technical leads, product managers and team members to understand requirements, produce project plans and scope
  • Assess time-scales for each project, assess risk and deliver project status reports to senior management
  • Support development and product teams as part of the project lifecycle
  • Lead project resources and manage the deliverables of the project team
  • Look at project management tools/methodologies in order to deliver each project in the most efficient way
 

Required Skills

  • Past experience delivering development projects, hardware and/or software in an Agile environment
  • Full project lifecycle experience in a product/solution environment
  • Knowledge of different project management methodologies and the ability to see which option is best to use per given project
  • Technical understanding in order to assess/evaluate project risks and issues
  • Excellent stakeholder skills, ability to deal with teams within the business and customers
  • Demonstrate successful team working skills with a proven track record in matrix management
