JOB DESCRIPTION

Fantastic opportunity for a driven Business Analyst to join my client's product development team, responsible for the delivery of the company's workflow management system, along with playing a major role in the continued development of their core products. Working in an Agile environment, you will enable the WMS designers/developers to onboard new processes and workflows into the current technology stack. 
You will work with a technology team alongside stakeholders from across the business to design and support the delivery of effective and efficient business processes and workflow automation, which will transform and enable the organisation’s end-to-end service delivery goals.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Working with the product team to understand technology solutions
  • Identifying potential opportunities to transform business processes
  • Drafting To Be processes in BPM and CMM notation to support automation design/build
  • Converting process automation requirements into user stories and tasks along with acceptance criteria as appropriate
  • Managing the backlog of user stories with very clear and unambiguous documentation
  • Evolving the details of the user stories through conversations with the WMS Application Consultant and Modellers to ensure the automation solution correctly reflects the business process expectations. 
  • Working closely with the Scrum Master, WMS Practice Lead and Development team to maintain a consistent, transparent and valuable contribution of work effort.
  • Collaborate with other Business Analysts/Product Owners to encourage a common understanding and foundation of knowledge and practice.
 
Experience required for the Business Analyst position
  • Strong experience as a business analyst working on digital transformation projects
  • Demonstrable experience working with process redesign methods and organisational change management.
  • Experienced at business process modelling, and working with workflow systems
  • Ability to articulate process change/automation requirements within an agile methodology utilising a combination of user stories and supporting documentation
  • Experience working as part of an Agile Team, with use of applications including Jira, Confluence, MS Teams.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and corresponding concepts related to user stories, acceptance criteria
  • A strong understanding of Orchestration and Automation
  • Work with global business stakeholders to understand the commercial goals and drivers
  • Experience within Software Development Life-cycle Methodology
  • Out of the box thinker
  • Experience of Change Management, and in both Waterfall & Agile environments.
 
This is a permanent position that requires weekly attendance in the office, 2-3 days a week in Milton, Oxfordshire, with the remaining time able to work remotely.
